At Covey Co., our first focus in any venture is finding the right kind of people. The most important decision in any venture is the decision of “who” to work with. While a covey is a tight-knit circle, we look to welcome people who share our view of success into the warmth and shared resources of the circle.
We use our resources and skills in ways that edify people, building them up and supporting them wherever help is needed. Covey Co. is about drawing people in and then pushing them forward in a meaningful way, all the while sowing the seeds of heaven.
It’s about giving others the chance to make something out of nothing, or something big out of something small.
How do you define success?
Is it just about having more money, more things? Not for us. Success is measured in endeavors worth doing, risks worth taking, and relationships built. It's the story the numbers tell, not just that they get bigger. It's the lives impacted, the chances given to people who can make something of them.
So with any new venture, after finding the right people, at Covey Co. we focus on the why.
Faith
Ultimately for us at Covey Co., the first, most lasting, and most valuable relationship anyone can have is with their heavenly savior Jesus Christ. That is why Faith is the true center of everything we do. At every step of Covey Co's life, we have looked to God for provision, guidance, strength, and grace. This was true in our humble beginnings when Harold and Gail Moran first set up shop on a wing and a prayer. It has carried us through the trials and tests that growth brought, through unexpected loss and grief, and through the joys and difficulties of being committed to relationships.
In all we do, we continue to seek God's ways and devote our work to His service, sharing His love with everyone we meet.
Family means pursuing success – TOGETHER
At the heart, we are a family business and will always be that. Family, of course, means the ties of kinship, but for us, it is also made up of those we have invited into that circle. We are careful about who we work with, but when we find the right people, they truly become family in our eyes.
We could sit on our experience and success and do nothing, but instead, we join forces with people all over the country to pursue true success together, in business, philanthropy, and life.
